We export both basmati and non-basmati rice, listed here in order of export demand. Pusa Basmati 1121, 1509 and Pusa Basmati 6 (1401) together make up over 90% of India's basmati exports, led by 1121, and in Saudi Arabia, the largest buyer, most basmati is bought as sella. On the non-basmati side, parboiled rice is India's biggest rice export by volume, shipped mainly to West Africa and South Asia, followed by South Indian table rices for the Gulf, North America and South-East Asia.
